Team Captain John "Mr 400" Schmidt chased and shattered Willie Mosconi's 65 year, 2 month and 8 day standing record of 526 balls playing Straight Pool (14.1 or 110 in BTR) by 100 points!!  Unbelievable.
John spend March, April and May of 2019, 5 days a week 6-8 hours a day trying to break Mr. Mosconi's long standing record.  He concured his goal on May 27, 2019.
This was not an easy task and it didn't come without frustration, heart break and tenasity.  For almost 3 months John put his heart and integrity on the line and never gave up until he acheived his career goal.  John love the game of straight pool.  It has always been his passions and his mission to one day hold the new world record.  The new record to beat is 626.  That equates to 45 racks and 10 balls.  Incredible.

It might be another 65 years before this record is broke again.  
Congratulations John.  We're proud to have you as a team captain.
