Majid is of a Pakistani decent and started his campaign to become a professional Pool player in 2001. He was formerly a snooker player and has had a total of five 147 breaks. With a solid foundation from snooker he embraced pool like a duck to water and became the UK's No.1 player in 2004. He was very consistent and maintained his ranking of number 1 for a total of 7 years in the UK.He was then nicknamed the Maharaja (Indian King) and is now a global embassador of American Pool.
Majid is now a force to be reckoned with in American pool and travels the globe playing tournaments up to 50 times a year. He plays national tours/The European tour and the World tour where he is highly ranked in all 3 lists. Imran has developed his own pool clinic and coaches budding players nationally and Internationally.

Tournaments:
Imran plays tournaments globally and all his matches are livestreamed and some tournaments are on live tv. The number of tournaments played annually vary from 30 to up to 50 tournaments.
Imran also takes an active till in commentating in the World Championships and on the European tour.
Imran is very active with various charities including The Princes trust and in 2011 helped the youth community of Manchester by donating pool tables to 3 youth centres. This was with a vision to get kids off the streets and become more interested in the game of pool.

Imrans main sponsor is Predator and he has sponsors with other companies like Taom tips and HighRock but these are just product sponsorship. He has a sponsorship with In2it sports company aswell but there is no official contract.
The only contract Imran has is with Predator which is only on a yearly basis.The existing one is from June 2017 to June 2018.He has been with Predator for 12 years on a yearly contract.
